Just seeing them, no doubt, reminds us of a stuffed animal; BUT, these are dogs who are determined, willing, untiring. They are afraid of nothing or nearly, nothing. They are very happy in the outdoors by running in the grass, jumping at butterflies, but a solitary life in an apartment will be just as satisfying to them. They adapt to almost any situation.

Their superb white fur, softer and finer than regular dog hair, when touched feels like a cotton ball that we find in the southern United States. It requires weekly maintenance. You will notice that when your Coton comes in from the rain, his coat does not smell... it must not be dried, but rather left on a towel to dry naturally.

The sizes for a female is approx. 10 lbs and male between 12 and 14 lbs.
